I aim to use nature and the garden to help people heal, grow, and facilitate mindfulness.

Emily Birss is an experienced arborist, horticulturalist, and gardener providing tailored services to customers in Southwestern Ontario including Brantford, Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and surrounding areas.

A Horticultural Therapist in training, Emily recently completed her Horticultural Therapy internship at Stedman Community Hospice under the guidance and mentorship of Lynn Leach, Horticultural Therapist.

Emily graduated from Fanshawe College in Horticultural Tech. She spent several years volunteering at the Fanshawe College Greenhouse where she deepened her knowledge of botanicals and insects. With further experience working as an arborist at one of Ontario’s largest Tree Companies, and as a full-time gardener and greenhouses specialist at the City of Brantford, Emily brings her deep love of nature, insects, knowledge and experience to her projects and customers.
